Its syntax is based on the Java and C languages \u2014 many structures from those languages apply to JavaScript as well. JavaScript supports object-oriented programming with object prototypes, instead of classes. JavaScript also supports functional programming \u2014 functions are objects, giving functions the capacity to hold executable code and be passed around like any other object.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Objects in Javascript<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Objects allow us to group values\u2014including other objects\u2014to build more complex structures. he values are written as name : value pairs (name and value separated by a colon).
